Some may wonder why links to the Oshawa Anglican Use of the Roman Catholic Church are included in this blog. As one of the commissioned projects of the St. Angela Merici Fraternity and part of our ecumenical outreach, we continue to support our new neighbours of the Catholic Church. The Minister of this fraternity sponsored two Anglicans in the catechetical process and reception into the Catholic Church. Many members of the fraternity attended the reception of the members of the Anglican Use Sodality of the Good Shepherd on April 25, 2012. Since then, we also have attended and participated in several Anglican Use Catholic Masses as well as evensongs (vespers). We continue to look forward to supporting our Anglican Use brothers and sisters as they become part of the Canadian Deanery of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
St. Thomas More, pray for us.
Blessed John Henry Newman, pray for us.
